Remix Supported by Vogue Italy, 2015


REMIX was introduced in 2003 – the brainchild of the IFF – to support the next generation
of fashion designers. The competition gives up-and-coming design talent from across
the globe an opportunity to showcase their innovative designs to a highly influential,
international audience and to receive global exposure across a range of traditional and
online media channels. 

In 2013 Christian Helmer was asked to re-launch the concept of Remix, bring
the competition to the next level and strengthen the profile of Remix. The concept was cut down
from 39 design presentation to 12 designers who each was now given the chance to show a
broader aspect of their design talent. The concept was build to showcase the individuality
of each design DNA showing creativity cross boarders.

Together with the PR agency Tullio Marcatti – Christian Helmer succeed to get Vogue Italy
to indorse the competition and getting the attention from international press such as Vanity Fair, Elle China,
GQ, Vogue Russia, Icon, Vogue China, Livid, All the pretty birds, Chiara Ferragni etc.
